Practitioners Workshop "Develop your own business model"

The Energize the BoP-Practitioners’ workshops are designed to help technology providers, energy providers, and consultants develop energy business models for low-income markets.
The workshops are led by well-qualified and experienced representatives from the think tank Endeva, the consultancy MicroEnergy International and the development agency GIZ, as well as other experts in the field.
Since the first workshop, about 25 companies have been trained on“Energizing the BoP”. See what they thought about the training!
The workshop is structured around two main sessions:
- Customer interface: participants identify challenges and solutions for organizing the sales, payment, service and end of product use processes.
- Development process: participants plan their requirements of four critical resources - market understanding, funding, human resources and product - from the design to the implementation and finally the growth phase.
Besides, participants learn about other relevant topics for creating inclusive energy business models, including
- How to get access to the carbon market
- How to deal with the political environment
- How to collaborate effectively with partners
Workshops are highly interactive and adjusted to participants' needs and expectations.
The workshop is available on demand. Companies can receive training for all their staff from as little as 2,000 Euros, depending on the individual requirements.
Workshops will also be made available at access to energy conferences in developing and emerging countries. Stay tuned for more information!
